IS THIS SOME KING OF MANIAC COP RIP-OF?? SAME YEAR, ALMOST SAME NAME.. ALMOST SAME STORY??

I wondered the same thing. I've only seen Psycho Cop 2, it's nothing like Maniac Cop though story wise. It does have a crazy cop in it though.
