1980's Horror?

I have seen at least two hundred eighties movies over the last two years and I have gotten a pretty good feel for them, yet "Psycho Cop" just does not come across as a legitimate eighties production. I kept thinking "nineties" while I was watching this whole thing.

Thoughts anyone?

Psycho Cop was filmed in February of 1989.

No problem, you can find filming dates in the "Production Starts" section of Variety, a lot of libraries have them on microfilm.

Awesome info to have. I watched a lot of eighties movies during the last three years and "Psycho Cop" wasn't the first movie I had my doubts about.

Thanks again! :-)

Are you sure you're not thinking of Psycho Cop Returns? That one screams early 90's.

Some of the hair and clothes in Psycho Cop (1989) seem kind of precursor '90s/90210.
