was there a really burnt & crispy culinary trend back in the 80's?

'you decide what's fair or a foul!!!!!!!!!!' not sure about that. connery's character isn't a baseball umpire.

must be an odd precaution and unnecessary so, I think abt Colonel Caldwell (Sean Connery) Donna Caldwell´s dad (Meg Ryan) was afraid that the character of Meg accidentally set fire in the kitchen. Besides both characters (Meg and Sean) being a smoker, was in the house of Caldwell a Many Flammable materials, including a box of matches in the partition wall beetween sink and the stove.

I found a site that talked about a subject on quirks and foibles of celebrities who have left before the fame. Meg Ryan beetween 1972 to mid-80s had a cleft always be with a matchbox and not calmed, up to strike all the sticks.was on her Fairfield homeland or college into intermissions. This can be seen even the most contemporany her movies some scenes she ignites lighters a plenty scenes to smoking or stay always with one on hand to solve light it.

Peter Hyams Sean Connery was warned into the Presidio making Off: Meg Ryan is a Highly Flammable actress. to left our hearts on fire...then just leaving us in embers.
