The following are from a purely visual point of view (in alphabetical order):

- Baraka
- Drawing Restraint 9
- Microcosmos
- The 'Qatsi' series
- Raging of the Elements - Programmes 1 and 2
- Un Chien Andalou

The following are proper movies but listed because their visual appeal is their 'raison d'etre'. Most of them have minimal or no dialogues:

- 2001: A Space Odyssey
- L'Age d'Or
- The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeosie
- Eraserhead
- The Triplets of Bellville

Lima Jr.'s 'Oyster in the Wind' (though that may be a bit talky to fit this list)

i don't think un chien andalou should be counted, as it is not really the same idea. otherwise you will have to include an enormous amount of experimental short films from people like stan brakhage, maya deren etc.

Samsara or course. Probably the best visual trip I've ever seen. My only dislike is that they reused footage/scenery from cronos.

The end of the world doesn't seem so bad now that you're here.
