What happened to the teenage boy?

The one who came out of the frozen swimming pool? All we know eventually is that he and the girl who comes out through the psychic's dead body are actually evil spirits in human form, no doubt two of Kane's followers, perhaps a married couple. But whilst the teenage girl is eventually rescued, the boy isn't. I hope he's not stuck in Purgatory with Kane and his kunts.
