I was watching 'The Faculty', and...

If they make a 4th installment of "Poltergeist", I think they should really cast Laura Harris as Carol Ann: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0364977/

I saw her in the movie "The Faculty" and immediately thought "Is that the original Carol-Anne all grown up?", then I googled her name and found out she wasn't the actress who played Carol-Anne, and Googled the correct actres, Heather O finding out she actually passed away right after the movie was shot. I was saddened by this because of how young she was, and of how all of these movies made her who she was, then all of a sudden she was gone because of a doc's misdiagnosis of sickness and drugs. I do believe that Laura Harris has a striking resemblance of a possible older Heather O'Rourke and she would be a great replacement...just without the annoying southern accent portrayed in The Faculty. Anyone agree?

LOL, I thought the EXACT same thing when I watched The Faculty in theaters back in 98/99.
My sister even thought that Laura Harris was indeed Carol Anne all grown up, and that the theory that she was dead was just an urban legend.
Anyway, I think Laura Harris really looks like Heather, if she had gotten to that age. Such a shame.

even Nancy Allen who was also in Poltergeist III looks very much like her,it's like she could be her mother!

That's actually a really cool idea! I didn't see the resemblance until you mentioned it. Laura Harris is a great actress too.

Yeah she looked like a teenage version of Heather O Rourke!
