is it just me or does anyone else want this film on DVD?

Yeah, I want it, too. Still waiting on quite a few cool Dudikoff films to come out on DVD. "Avenging Force" hasn't been released on DVD in the US yet. Don't know what the hell the holdup is there? It's been released officailly by MGM in Europe and Australia. Waiting on "The Human Shield", too. I have "River of Death" on DVD from Digital Gold, but it needs to get a better official release.

I had the vhs, but wore it out watching it so much. A. F. I saw at the movies, but didn't care for it. P.L. on disc would be a great addition to my movie collection. :-)

This movie is available on dvd at rarity movies. Claims to be good quality but no extras.

Sign me up too. I think Platoon Leader is a very good (and underated) Vietnam War movie. I'd love to get a DVD.

Just noticed that a DVD version is available for pre-order on the German Amazon site. Should have both German and English language track according to the listing and will probably be Region 2 PAL. Date is October 9th.

Good news as I just realized I have worn out my VHS tape version...
