Hey Bad Habitt, Ursula finds Stan's watch under the table I think, then confronts Leon about it, and Leon tells her that Pin killed him. She leaves the room, comes back shortly and strikes out at Leon with an axe. Ursula, sitting in a police car, finds that Stan is still alive under the woodpile Leon put him under and then the scene goes forward a year or so in the future. Ursula goes into a room and talks to Pin, who is sitting at the window (where the movie actually started) and Pin tells her that he misses Leon, she concurrs, then she leaves, then the camera pans to Pin, who is actually Leon, as Pin has taken complete control of his psyche. There is no more Leon, there is only Pin. Ursula axed Pin, and Stern made us think it was Leon, which may have been predictable, but as a 19 year old seeing this, wow. I am 32 now, and this movie was just great story telling. I would love to see more Neiderman novels into movies, like Child's Play, that was chilling as a father taking evil control of his children. I hope that helps...

"I think that's one of the most powerful and emotionally devastating endings to a horror film - or any film - I've ever seen - I was surprisingly moved by it the first time I ever saw this movie":

I totally agree...this ending is so disturbing, shocking and moving, because you really care for the poor Leon...great film.
