Soundtrack

I checked on discogs, and it doesn't look like Pleasant Company ever released an album.

The two songs featured at the school dance were "Running on Love" and "On the Run", both by Larry Weir. Unfortunately I doubt you'll be able to find them, but Larry Weir does ave a website and you might be able to contact him about finding the tracks.
