I have always seen bits of this one throughout the years and never really watched it all the way through. I was pleasantly surprised.

Yup. James LeGros played adult Mike better than Michael Baldwin, imo.
Liz is an excellent addition too.

It is a pretty fun movie. Very different from the first film and not quite as good, but still worth a watch if you're a fan of it.
