Is this a movie easy to find?

Because I can't find him anywhere, a real classic of my childhood!

When Keanu was an actor!

I don't think it's easy to find because it's not much in demand, unfortunately, and probably not many tapes were issued. I doubt there will ever be a DVD (but I'd love to be proved wrong). I managed to buy a used video from a rental store a few years back for a few bucks. And sorry, I'm not selling it! ;-)

I also have the soundtrack, which has that excellent J.D. Souther song about staring at the moon outside my car/wishing on another falling star.

For anyone who thinks Keanu is just a dude, check this one out. Too bad he allowed himself to be typecast later.

I saw this movie with a free pass when it came out in 1988, and I was very lucky because I probably wouldn't have even heard about it otherwise.

I watched it on a DVD rented from Netflix.

So the film is available on dvd? Otherwise I'll never find it.

I've also spent years looking for this film on region 2 dvd, I have an old battered copy (somewhere ... lol) on VHS, but I do dont have a Video player anymore.
Good luck with your hunt for it..if you ever find it, can you post where, as I'd love a copy.

I don't know where else, but I know there's a Virgin Megastore in Downtown Disney in Florida.

Anyway, I got my DVD off Amazon or Barnes and Noble. Probably the latter...and I paid about $8.00 for it.

I rented it from Netflix.

It is on DVD. Check out any Biglots near you. I have seen it there for $3. Or sometimes 1.88 if they are having a sale. Sadly, I paid like $25 for mine at barnes & noble back whenever it was first released.
