The dialogue..wow

How come I'd never heard of this one before? Great dialogue...great acting from the three main characters too.

I love this movie too.

I can't understand why it's pretty much unknown.

The dialogue is some of the most real that you'll find in any film.

I have to agree with you on the dialog. Even though I can't really remember any of the dialog, I do remember thinking it was some of the most realistic dialog I have ever heard in a movie.

Some will be offended by Billy's dialog because it is so vulgar, while others will state his dialog is not realistic because they don't know anyone that talks like him. I knew a guy in college from NY (as I recall) and every 7th word out of his mouth began with an F.

Also, I don't mean to imply that it's realistic because of his vulgarity. It has more to do with the rapport between the two guys and how they speak to each other.

The guys talking about women and sex - and Patti doing the same, is what makes it real, and what it's all about.

Billy saying stuff about smelling a girl's hair for the first time, and the first time you feel a girl's "cooch" (or something like that) - that it's always the wettest.

Patti says something about meeting guys in bars and them making her feel pretty. And her deciding whether she'll take them home.

They both say that it's the thrill of the chase.

It's good stuff, and conversations that a lot of us have had.

The line is "the first time you feel a girl's wookie, it's always the wettest".

Thanks. I've probably watched it two or three times since my post, and realised my mistake. I never came back to fix it, since it doesn't look like too many people care enough about this movie to talk about it.
