...and from what I can remember I didn't care for it much at the time and really got turned off because Patti slept with both guys in a very short time frame. Maybe I need to watch it again now that I'm older.

Nah, don't bother. If it turned you off when you were young, I don't think that you'd like it now. Well, unless you've lived and been through enough, so that now you can relate to it better.
