Pascali's Island not on DVD!!
Anyone know whom to contact re this glaring omission?
This is a geat movie and stars two famous actors, Helen Mirren, who wasn't famous when she starred in it, but now is, and Ben Kingsley.
Don't forget Charles Dance.
I don't know why it's not on DVD. It is a truly beautifully filmed movie. Deserves to be put on DVD in widescreen format.

You should contact Lions Gate. Pascali's Island was released on VHS by IVE (International Video Entertainment) in the late 1980s. IVE became Live Home Video, which later became Artisan Entertainment, which is now merged into Lions Gate. share

shareI would love to see Pascali's Island, White Mischief and Gothic get the full DVD treatment with commentaries from anyone who can be talked into doing one, interviews with stars, etc. etc. These were all beautifully shot groundbreaking movies (in their own ways) that engaged the intelligent viewer with the complex characters depicted. I can't believe there are so few people who a) know about them and b) want to talk about them.
