Is this the same movie...

This might be the movie I have been looking for also.

Here is some of the plot of the movie and tell me if it matches this movie.

At the beginning of the story a cop has a wife/girlfriend that is reading a stephen king book 'the stand' I believe and tells him that it's an old one. This takes place in the future of course. She says the book would be perfect if it was not for the tear of one of the pages.

Cop goes back in time. I remember that he has special glasses that he used it instant scratch off tickets to get money.

He saves the day, but ends up getting stuck in the past (1980's)

At the end, he is at a library and takes The Stand off the bookshelp and it drops and tears the exact same page of the book. He then leaves a note for his wife/girlfriend telling her that he is stuck there.
