Brenda's issues (possible spoiler)

It was both comical and sad at how unhappy Brenda was, and you could tell it really didn't have anything to do with her husband or those she loved. She just seemed really bitter, and took her bitterness out on everyone else. Maybe she was unhappy with her life? How she ended up running a diner/hotel in the middle of nowhere?

Whatever the reason, the friendship she developed with Jasmine really helped her see the world in a whole new light, and sometimes someone that is your polar opposite is just what you need to open your eyes and see that just maybe, just maybe, the world isn't such a bad place after all.
