Sorry, I just cannot allow the message titled "worst movie I've ever seen" to be at the forefront of this message board. This movie was fantastic -- funny and moving at the same time. CCH Pounder was excellent, as always, the music was haunting, Marianne Sagebrecht was phenomenal...etc.
I love movies that highlight the quiet desperation of life.
Watchable, but not great. Amateurish, pretentious, film-schoolish. Not great. No, not at all.
shareI went in with the expectation of " Amateurish, pretentious, film-schoolish. Not great. " I thought it was fantastic, the way the director changed the atmosphere, I found the beginning haunting, with such a good ending. The acting was great, with enough focus on all the main characters to make you really care about them.
