I love it for many reasons.
Superb almost Tchekhov type of atmosphere, where everyone builds the strength of the story, without mandating the main character.
Jasmin is simply the vehicle of introduction to inner life of the charming desert characters. Even Jack Pallance is not used as "adhesive savior" what would be often used in small movies that have to attract audience with at least one "safe" name. Not needed in BC. Jack is here to enjoy the ride and what a ride it is. Great acting, great location, good score, almost Gabriel Yared type of mood, just less thematic.
It there is type of movie that would define description of superb atmosphere, Out of Rosenheim is surely the one.
What a wonderful material for a short series

I remember you from another board:) I LOVE this movie. First saw it when I was a little girl. Watched it again a few days ago ondemand. Great memories:)
