Do bears dream?

I love this film, is not common that you can have a story based mostly on animal characters (chatran, benjie, etc) but also to have a psychological approach (the dreams). When I first saw the film (I had 10 years) it shocked me the frog nightmare, It looked as the bear related the frog he saw with some other wild animals (wolves). that makes me think if bears have some type of intelligence to relate things that they have seem, or this is just part of the film which doesn’t relate with reality.
