Sykes: Scariest villain in ANY Disney movie

Skyes gets my vote for the most genuinely scary Disney villain ever. I mean seriously: talking about murder, breaking a guys knuckles, cement shoes? Child kidnapping? That is some scary stuff for a kids movie!

As an adult I believe he is quite possibly the Disney villain I would least want to cross. He definitely doesn't get much credit.

Sykes is pretty insane - chasing after Fagin through the New York subway, wrecking his car, killing his dogs and then just getting owned by the train.

I think Sykes is one of those villains who seem scarier as you get older because a lot of his menace is really subtle, unlike most Disney villains.

Supermodels...spoiled stupid little stick figures mit poofy lips who sink only about zemselves.

It's Robert Loggia and his character is just like his characters in Scarface and Innocent Blood.

Sykes is up there with Ratigan if you ask me for being diabolical. Sykes is like a mafia type of guy you know, he knows how to threaten kids and talk about murdering somebody.

Ratigan wasn't scary-voice was too fruity

Yeah I know. He isn't really that scary looking so he wouldn't be scary when you are a little kid who just watches this movie for the talking animals.

Sykes is quite evil, and yeah even to me as a kid he was pretty scary. I guess because he was "real", so to speak. Not a monster or a witch, but a real human capable of doing real evil.

Also a brutal death for him, especially for Disney...getting killed by a train? Yikes.

Yes that was a horrifying death, even like Gaston in Beauty and The Beast and when Ratigan fell to their deaths or when Scar was eaten in The Lion King.

Now hold on, how can you completely disregard all the other great Walt Disney animation villains? Sykes is not the only one who has talked about murder or murdered someone, or tried to at least. There are other villains who have done all three and have other scary aspects about them, as well, that kids might find scarier depending on the kid.

Though I have never been "scared" by a Disney villian, the creepiest in my opinion, and my favorite, is definitely Maleficent. In Sleeping Beauty, Maleficent's laughs are so demonic and screechy, and she summoned the newborn princess to die on her 16th birthday just for the fun of it and tried to make that happen when the time came. She is also the only villian to ever call on all the powers of Hell and she transforms into a fire breathing dragon. The eerie music that plays when she appears is a plus too.

Now, I'm not saying Sykes couldn't be scary, but any Disney villian could, and I can understand why some might find him intimidating, but the scariest villian in ANY Disney movie? I get that he is sinister because he is a real person, per say, acting in a sinister way, but so is The Stepmother, Gaston, Frollo, Shan Yu and Clayton. I'm not disagreeing with you or calling you wrong, just trying to get you to understand there are lots of Disney villians with lots of different personalities, haha.

I'd rather be disemboweled with a toothbrush.

Sykes: One of, if not THE most underraed Disney villains ever.

And everytime I see him, I immediately picture Robert Loggia as his Frank Lopez character in Scarface.

Sykes is not scary. His car is!

I always found him to be one of the most forgettable Disney villains personally.
