I heard about a 248 minutes version of this movie. But it's not mentioned at IMDB. Does this version really exists?

Yeah, it exists. I downloaded Cinema Paradiso and this was the version that I got

I think you mean youd downloaded the 2h48 version, not 248 mins

even equiped with a shovel and you couldn't dig this

No, it was 248 miutes.... 4 hours, 8 minutes

Have you tried turning it on and off again?
