I just watched the region 1 Lionsgate DVD.
Why didn't the wallet thief die? I was sure he was just in the movie to get murdered at some point, (like most of the victims in this film.) But the end credits rolled and he was still at large.
Did I see a cut version?
He survives... I'm not sure why either.
sharePerhaps it was just simply a case of Lenzi wanting to go against the grain of expectation in a slasher movie, where you'd certainly expect to see such a character ultimately meet a grisly demise at the hand of the killer. Who in fact knows why though as to the reason the character survives in this film.
"Life IS pain highness. Anyone who says differently is selling something".
Such is the genius of Umberto Lenzi, if he even directed this at all. 😆
