What are the real differences between A Night in the Life of Jimmy Reardon and the "new" Director's Cut???

One added scene of Jimmy going into a bar downtown, and a removal of Phoenix great narration, replaced by some awful narration done by a seemingly 100 year old man. Plus some great upbeat 60's tunes were replaced by some truly dowonbeat ones. You are not missing much..
