soundtrack

I love the oldies music. However, I'm pissed that there was 80's modern scoring from Bill Conti. This is a period piece, hello! Popular music from the late 50's & early 60's works, as well as the classical bits used when visiting the rich girlfriend's house.

Was there ever a film soundtrack released?

reply

It's doubtful, but you should check www.amazon.com anyway.

Whatever, screw period scoring. The 80s soundtrack is cool

Yeah, the 50's and 60's music was great. I especially liked the track that played at the ending into the credits, "Saved" by LaVern Baker.

Only Bill Conti's score was released on CD as a limited edition (1500 copies). The CD also contains music from Conti's Rookie of the Year and Bushwhacked.

I'm troubled with your findings Pyobeez :(

Because I've examined each song from OST and the song at the very end is not "Saved" by LB. But rather something that seems to be performed by Johnny Mathis.

In fact, there are already two tracks listed with Mathis. But this song at the end is not the one.

The opening lyrics at the ending goes :

"I am not afraid to say goodbye to one night dreams that disappear too fast"

I would really like to know the name of this song, also, is it really performed by Mathis? Anyone?
