I havn't seen this movie since I was very young so remember nothing about the plot so can anybody explain the title for me and what it means when there's not trains in this particular country.

Nepal does have 59 km of railway, although none of it reaches the capital city, Kathmandu. The title has no significant meaning beyond the fact that Lily first meets Johar on the night train to Kathmandu. So I suppose that's some kind of goof.

There is a train from India to Janakpur, where they arrive.
