I always prefer to watch films in their original language with subtitles, however, in Australia (where i am) there only seems to be one DVD available which is one where you can only watch with English dubs.. just wanted to know.. should i buy the original one off ebay of are the english dubs tolerable?

nope.get the original.the dubs are horrible.

to be honest there is so little dialouge that the dubbed version is perfectly tollerable.
