One of the funniest movies ever

It's tremendous. Also notice the pacing. It starts as funny of course but the level and pace of the comedy starts to accelerate when Frank goes to the bathroom with the mic on and then by the ending scene at the baseball game it's totally out of control hilarious.

to me the intro is almost more connected with the family guy bit now, i had missed previously he rubbed off gorbatjov's birthmark, how uncommon is it with a birthmark like that anyway, my kid sister had one so we called her gorbatjov. the cake scene with queen elizabeth was rough😲... it's a downer how nielsen and the moviemakers of this naked gun franchise never came close to as funny with any of their other movies, they should have just kept making these, from what i remember of the sitcom this is based on it hadn't aged well and perhaps that's why i've only seen it air once. weird al stepping off the plane in this, didn't he also appear in spy hard, the nielsen movie that is closest to these i guess. the scene at the hospital bed is mixed with hysterical jokes and unfunny ones. it's remarkable how often in movies a truck doesn't stop. pretty strange isn't it how a movie with actors not known at all previously for comic roles star in one of the funniest movies ever made, but what is up with the baseball scene slowing down this otherwise hilarious movie, i realised as i watched this again i must have changed channel or dozed off each time because this was the first time i saw that end. notice how nordberg has a rather small part in this compared to the sequels i think.
