What is the appeal of this (by then dead) performer?
Why is he featured/worshipped so much in this movie?
What does he have to do with the plot/lesson(s) that this movie is (allegedly) trying to teach its' audience?
First of all he's one great American Classic but I guess his song helps Celeste realize her humanity by showing how common it is to want to be at a place where u can't stay at and having to deal with hard decisions. In her planet everything is easy and uncomplicated and she becomes a human when she becomes tangled in all human things, just like Jimmy.
