Ok, I'm going to ask a really stupid question here...

but bear with me...I've been a huge fan of this movie for 22 years now, and only a few minutes ago did I learn that Bag was voiced by a woman!

I always thought Bag was voiced by a really effeminate sounding MAN!

So my question is this: Was I the only one in the dark about this, or did anyone else think that Bag was voiced by a man?

And yes, I realize I could have looked it up years ago, but I just always assumed it was a man.
It was only tonight that I popped this movie into the DVD player and decided to look up who played Bag :P.

I always assumed it was a woman that smoked for many many years.

Honestly, I always thought it was a dude. Never once thought about it being a woman. But, now that you say it's a woman, I can hear that voice in my head and totally see it being a woman. So, not really all that shocked. Still, weird.

Bag has a very distinctive and recognizable voice.

When I first saw this film, I assumed the voice was supplied by Paula Prentiss, especially since she is the wife of its director, Richard Benjamin. I watched the credits at the end of the film and learned that I was wrong. Paula Prentiss was not the voice of Bag.

Bag was performed by Paula’s younger sister, Ann Prentiss.

I figured the bag was a female voice. The woman might be manly in nature but still a woman.

I know I'm 3 years late in replying, but as a kid I always thought Bag was a male. So did my best friend. I didn't realize till recently that its a female. Oh well, lol

I've just seen the movie for the first time. I thought of the bag as having a woman's voice. And I think of the bag and 'her' way of saying things as female.
