IMDB mentions that Jean Cocteau played some role in the script-writing, or it was derived from one of his plays. Does anyone know what the whole story is - how Cocteau was involved? (especially since he'd been dead for decades)

It's a monologue for a woman, who is calling her lover, who just left her for another woman. She sometimes has to wait for him to ring back as well.
The same Pepa is waiting for Ivan to call, she is going a bit mad with the wait, and wanting to go back with him, and not knowing what's happening, just like the woman in Cocteau's play.
