The best work highlighting changes in Post-Franco Spain

I've just watched this film for the third time and i have to applaud Almodovar for this work. Did anyone else think it was one of the greatest films showing advancement in Spanish people's freedoms and liberty. A strong female character leading her own life successfully and agreeing to raise her child as a single mother. I studied political changes in post-Franco spain and having seen a few films after this period i thought this one really hit the nail on the head. Anyone else think the same? if you disagree let me know why or recommend other films, i love spanish cinema.

I liked this movie a lot. My Spanish 4 professor had us watch it to help us out with learning and hearing native speakers talk. At first i thought it was a little weird but as the movie progressed i really got into it. Over all i'd totally watch it again and recommend it to others!
