Music

As soon as I heard the opening music, I changed channels.

Yet, you felt compelled to look this movie up to post that?

"That's something you'll never hear from me, Capt. Butler, as long as you live"

I think the score by David McHugh is excellent. If it turned you off right away, that says more to me about you and your taste than it does about this beautiful music. I've loved it since I first heard it back in the late '80s. It's exceptional and one of my favorites, right up there with Peyton Place, Far From Heaven, To Kill a Mockingbird, and Ragtime. I had hoped it would become available on CD, but it was never released. Mr. McHugh has his own website, however, and thankfully, you can listen to it and access the full score online. http://www.davidmchugh.com/film.html
