Stacey Dash was very dark in this movie

This movie was Stacey Dash's debut in a Hollywood movie. She was 22, and I assume not yet a Republican (smile).

But what I found interesting is that, for whatever reason, she was a lot darker in this movie than any other film/place that I have seen her. Of course, this isn't a bad thing at all, but I wonder why? Because she was a member of a black family in this movie, I wonder did she make purposely make herself darker? Or maybe she had been sunbathing at the beach while this movie was being filmed?

He he, I thought you were referring to the character she played (which I thought was pretty dark). Colorwise, I can't tell a difference in her skin from this film to say, "Clueless", "Illegal In Blue", or "Cold Around The Heart".

She was not 22 in Moving. The movie was filmed in 1987. She was at most 20 years old during the filming of this movie.

She has gotten a lot more light skinned recently.
