In this film, Anderson is told he can't drink at the "social club" unless he is a member. He scoffs:

"A member? Hehe. A member of what?"

In "Unforgiven," Little Bill is told he just beat an innocent man. He scoffs:

"Innocent? He. Innocent of what? "

He had the best scoffs of all time. Gene is happily retired in Santa Fe, and who wouldn't love that?

He's also pretty good at talking through gritted teeth.
