Does anyone else REMEMBER when they were promoting this movie they did..

Does anyone else remember when they were promoting this movie they did a huge publicity stunt that basically involved a bunch of lesser tv celebs all traveling from NY to LA in handcuffs paired up with one other person?

It was a race to see who could get from NY to LA the fastest! I'm not sure what the prize was for the winning team of people but what really caught my eye was that one of the teams was the actor who played Dennis Blunden on Head of the Class and I believe his partner was the actor who played Erick on Head of The Class.

I remember thinking as a little kid WOW WTF? They went to such an extravagant extreme extent to do such a hardcore contest just to create publicity for the film and on top of that Dennis Blunden was trying to win the contest! lol

I remember Entertainment Tonight showed Dennis Blunden explaining that they were not able to get on the plane because they were in hand cuffs and even though they were pretty much tv stars the airlines did not allow them to board the plane and this was back in the 80's!

ANYONE ELSE REMEMBER THIS???

They did it! How old are you? Maybe youre too young to remember.

they didnt do a good job, it only earned 38 million dollars in the usa, though its still a class action comedy!( i am 41)
