I give it a 9 on a scale of 1-10!

Masquerade is a very good movie, full of drama, suspense, twists, and turns. I compare it to 1981's Body Heat, except it's different because the woman is not the relentless "hero" but is the "innocent" hero. The men in Masquerade are the one's that try to get over on Meg Tilly. You will enjoy this movie, especially if you enjoyed Body Heat!

I agree, I think Masquerade is underrated. Any fan of Rob Lowe should watch this moie, that's for sure. I liked the plot twists as well.

Annnnddd, I recommend eating chocolate icing while watching the movie. Haha, that's what I did!

Ditto, to all of the above. It's a modern classic thriller like "Body Heat". It's totally Hitchcock in style, the music, the plot, the timing, even the acting. The acting styles of Rob Lowe and Doug Savant are reminiscent of Cary Grant, Gregory Peck or Jimmy Stewart. Especially watch Meg Tilly cleverly play "Olivia" like a Hitchcockian heroine. It's almost an homage to Tippi Hedren, Grace Kelly or Ingrid Bergman. Her performance in "Masquerade" brings to mind Grace Kelly in "Dial M for Murder". Oh snap! I just watched "Masquerade" on Encore and "Body Heat" is coming on next! Gotta Go.

Just saw it for the first time today, great show, but I think the thing that stood out for me was the music. Everything fit well in the film...

Except the 3 goofy things at the end (SPOILERS):

The rat biting Lowe causing him to hit the switch and blow up the boat :)
Tilly throwing Savant out the window (she is pretty strong ;)
The look on Savant's face lying dead on the ground (or whatever he landed on)

The last 2 things happened a few seconds apart which caused me to laugh out loud...

But I did like this film a lot, I forgive them for these things.

These are definitely some of the sillier sequences, and you have to wonder too how someone came up with some of the dialogue. The film is better than most people seem to want to give it credit for though. It's no Citizen Kane, of course - but it's no Police Academy 6 either.
