This was my very first Jet Li movie. I read before somewhere that it wasn't as good as his other movies, so I didn't expect much. Enjoyed it pretty much.

Later I was severly disappointed with Jet Li's "better" movies, because he didn't do much in those without wires. Dragon Fight still remains one of Jet Li's best movies for me, because he really uses his skills here.

I never watched Chinese/Hong Kong martial arts movies as a kid because I thought they all only employed the wire-fu style, but I started watching more recently and some of them are pretty good. I haven't seen much from Jet Li, but this is definitely one of his better ones. If only I didn't watch the awful dubbed version though.
