Yes, according to The Stage and BBC reports, this version will emulate Bleak House as a soap opera style multi-episode extravaganza, airing twice a week for a half hour slot after Eastenders. It is also set to be even longer than Bleak House which ran to some 15 or so episodes I believe. Andrew Davies is writing the script. I'm hoping for more news on this asap!

I'm really interested to see how the Beeb is going to do this. I liked Bleak House, so I think it will be worth watching. Fingers crossed they'll cast a good Little Dorrit.

I hope they raid LAMDA for some actors, they found a gem in Ruth Wilson for Jane Eyre.

I received my copy of the Jacobi "little Dorrit" the same week they began to show the new BBC mini-series here is Australia ... my verdict ... both are excellent ... thee movie version leaves out huge hunks of plot, but the performances are wonderful, as is the "look" ... the BBC version is much more complete, also with very fine acting. It is hard to choose between Alec Guinness and Tom Courtenay in the role of Mr Dorrit ... they are both brilliant.

But you ARE Blanche ... and I AM.
