Love this movie!
Both parts-all of it. Have seen them many times since initial release, it is a truly beautiful film despite what people on the boards are writing....."pulverized!"
shareYou are not the only one. I was dragged to the first film when it was released, by a friend who was an avid Dickens reader. I fell in love with it and eagerly went with her when Part 2 was released. She, I think, didn't love them quite as much as I did (and still do) - not as true to Dickens as she would have liked.
I bought the VHS versions (four tapes!) when they first came out and will never part with them, even if they are no longer *easily* playable.
