It's Frankie's fault that anyone died in this movie


If he had just told the cops that some weirdo was looking in the grate then tried to kill him, they would've found the ring, and the real killer.

Of course, then there would be no movie, but still. :)

He tried more than once to tell the adults about what he saw, but they cut him off in mid-sentence and weren't interested in what he had to say. It's not his fault if the adults were all stupid and wouldn't listen.

It's not Frankie's fault that the children died. Those children were killed BEFORE that happened to Frankie in the coatroom. Those murders were in the past. I guess if they had caught the real killer, then the black man wouldn't have been shot though.
