New DVD

I was excited when I saw this was being re-released on DVD. I remember HBO playing it a lot back in the early 90's, and liking it then. So I bought it just the other day, but was a little let down after I watched it. Sometimes you really like a movie when you're a kid, then watch it years later, and for some reason, it's not as great as you remember. Although it's not a bad movie, it does take a little while to get going. It was nearly an hour into the movie that things picked up. I feel they should've cut down some of the scenes with the man wrongly accused of murdering the children, and could've done with less scenes with Frankie's crazy family. The movie's called Lady in White, yet you really only see her at the end of the movie. The DVD does have some cool features, like deleted scenes, behind the scenes stuff, and a directors commentary.

This movie used to scare me as a kid. I haven't seen it in some 15 years. I think I'm gonna try to buy this DVD. Hopefully it will be as creepy as it was 15 years ago... but most movies just aren't the same.

This is one of my favorite movies. I LOVE Grandpa & Geno. After watching this movie my grandma can't go in the basement. There's absolutly no reason for it.

I still love this movie- I've been waiting for it to come out on DVD for a long time (I'm in Australia though, and it doesn't look like it's been released here yet)

The main part of this movie to me is the mystery. That mystery is what the suspense is based on. If you already know who did it, why they did it, and who all the ghosts are, that suspense is gone. This movie will always be best, when it is first seen.
