I just started the movie and was thinking it feels like a Stephen King movie.

Also gets rather messy story-wise like Stephen King's books sometimes do.

Poorly Lived and Poorly Died, Poorly Buried and No One Cried

I thought it had both a King and a Spielberg vibe.
