Slow film (obviously) but truly great I think. The 'action' revolves around the transportation of some package. We never find out what it is but it is safe to assume it is something illegal. Near the end, the bearded bar owner says to Karrer that his 'friend' (Karrer's lover's husband) removed some things from the package but that he felt there was no point talking to him about it.

An arthouse version of Vince and Jules' glowing suitcase in Pulp Fiction, perhaps - so any theories on what was in the package???

Drugs? Guns?...
