Circular Dance

the dance scene in its entirity was amazing. Did anyone notice that the circular dance started clockwise, but by the end of the scene was counter-clockwise. How did they do that without it being noticable?

Meaning? I dunno. People finding happiness in group activities? Lost in repetition of daily routines. Small deviations of routine makes it all worthwhile or barable? a nice contrast to the one way ore carts? Do we ever see them return?

The dance scene scared me.

Yes, the dance sequence was the best part of the movie. Fortunately, it was rather long. So long as to nearly hypnotize a viewer. The movie had some other scenes with great mood and beautifully depressive look, but the dance scene was the most engaging. I really felt like I'm myself in this party. Also, the scene that directly preceded the dance scene, the one with people standing quietly facing the camera, was cool. I wish the plot of the movie had been a tiny bit clearer.
