What is that round thing on the window?
I've seen it elsewhere as well, this weird round bulge or convex on her window. Not sure if it's a magnifying glass or what, but I wondered why it's there? What purpose does it fill?
shareIt's a Fresnel lens. Maybe 20 years ago, you would see them on the rear windows of vans. It acts as a magnifying glass, but you'd have to put something on the other side of the window to see it magnified. I couldn't figure out why she had it, unless it was a kind of analog to Tomek's scope (a telescope vs. a magnifier).

That's that quandry cleared up. Do you also happen to know what the swirly spirally thing is on old windows? Clearly not magnification, and only on house (glass) windows. I always thought it was something to do with superstition... Google is no help unless you know the name with this one.
