Another Escalator Scene, Different Movie?

I was trying to figure out which movie the necklace-stuck-in-the-escalator scene came from, but I don't seem to recall this being the one. This is where my Web searches led me, though. Thing is, the plot doesn't sound right. I just seem to remember the movie that I'm thinking of involving a girl's mom dating some guy who's actually a vampire or something. Can anyone here think of such a movie that also includes a similar escalator scene?
