I can't help it but I liked this film. sure the cat looked faked. what a violent little thing that was. I loved the cast. It had enough gore and I loved the part where the blond head girl Heather got caught on the escalator. I also liked when Amy got her period in a few seconds flat and then later screamed to Brenda how she wanted a diet coke and chips. something out of rosemarys baby. The soundtrack music set the mood I thought. I feel there are not enough cool little films like this one anymore. they are water down. I wasn't bored during the film which is a plus. I liked Meredith Salenger as Amy. sure there were small problems with the film but overall I enjoyed it.

Yes, that movie was good old eighties fun. The movie gets points for cool 80s atmosphere, great 80s music during opening and ending credits, gorgeous women, and some great visuals (like the opening in Africa). However, I have to subtract points for that god awful killer-cat.
