Super intendant Arnold

What a prick, I hated this guy, he had such a *beep* attitude on him.
Wen he shouts at Godley in the alley:
"To make us think he's a Jew, haven't you got a brain" I'd have smacked him in the face and punched his smug lights out.
Arrogant bastard, and when he asks where abberline has gone and GEORGE says very politely "I think he went home sir" Arnold shouts at him "you think he went home sir??"
If it was me I'd have said "we'll I'm not his bloody mother sir"!!!!

What an arrogant *beep* and every time I see the scene where mar Kelly's died and warren walks off upset, when arold says "he's offered to resign, lost a good man" I'd have said "oh shut the *beep* up you twat, he's not doing anything, I'm doing all the work. A young girl has been ripped apart and all you say is lost a good man, your a twat.
I also hate the fact the high up officers shout at abberline to find the guy, why don't they try something instead of slagging him off. He prob havent slept in weeks, what the hell are his bosses doing, just sitting around. Expecting him to just miraculously find the killers, what the *beep*, come down off your high horse a bit.

I think the whole point of the character of Arnold is that he comes from a similar kind of rough and ready background to Abberline. However, unlike Abberline, Arnold has risen through the ranks by doing plenty of **** kissing. However, whilst Abberline clearly hasn't achieved the same kind of career success, he has retained his principles and has a strong sense of right and wrong. The more 'successful' Arnold has sacrificed all of his principles in order to get where he has. When Fred shouts 'Do you want the killer sir or will anybody do?' clearly touches a nerve with Arnold, who goes on to instruct Fred that 'it's all just a game' and that pleasing one's superiors is far more important than doing the right thing. You can detect a hint of regret in Arnold's voice, as though he doesn't quite believe what he is saying. This leads one to question exactly which of the two characters has sunk the lowest? The alcoholic Abberline or the Yes Man/Rubber Stamping Superintendent Arnold?

Yeah exactly, I totally agree especially the 'you want the killer or will anybody do?' bit

Arnold is the most egotistical arrogant *beep* I've ever seen.
I wouldn't want to work with him either.

The other character I hate is Emma.
Her speech on the stage, ''Everyone you meet, everyone is a criminal to be hounded and accused, why don't you accuse me, why don't you say I went to bed with him, is that what you want to hear''...............

If I was Abberline, Id have pushed her across the stage, slammed her into the wall and showed her Mary Kelly's photo of her ripped apart. Then Id have shouted to Emma ''See this girl, this is what Im looking for, a killer who rips people apart like this. I don't give a flying *beep* if you slept with Mansfield, you go be a slag, all im concerned with a finding the bastard who did this!!!!

So excuse me you complete selfish bitch, if Im not a little bit upset and pissed off ok. Go, go on then go run after him like the slut you are and I hope your his next victim!!
