Not a great movie, BUT . . .

I love Slacker more than I can say. I've seen the movie oodles of times, memorized large chunks of it. I'm also a huge Stranger Than Paradise fan. This movie is clearly the work of a young up and coming art-film director cutting his teeth on an experimental genre. I enjoy watching it because I feel a sort of kinship with Linklater. But coming to this movie cold, well, I don't know if I'd be able to tolerate it.
