i'm getting intruder unrated directors cut for christmas, and i'm wondering if it's uncut? on imdb it says running time 83 min. but for the director's cut it says 88 can someone tell me?

I agree you with you Thunder. Wont be the first time I've been told something is unrated or had packaging that said so and shows up in the original crap version I first found it in.

The Region 1 DVD is indeed uncut featuring much more gore when compared to the R-rated version.

Yay. I just ordered this, The Prowler, Home Sick and Maniac from HMV so I can get a discount...unfortunately Intruder is going to take 3-4 months to come in since it's an import...:( I hope it's as good as everyone says. I love slashers, they are my favourite type of horror.

DVD's often have shorter running time than BLU RAY's for some reason, not because there is more stuff in it but because the DVD's are set in a faster running time... I saw a Blu Ray version of it (DC) and it was 87 minutes but if it's shorter than that it could still very well be the DC version...
